Gâvvy (she/her/ella) is the ACLU of Montana's legal intern for this summer!
Gâvvy is a J.D. and Indigenous Studies M.A. student at the University of Kansas. Throughout her studies, Gâvvy studies tribal sovereignty and tribal self-determination; weaving a decolonial feminist lens throughout her legal and graduate education. Gâvvy aspires to become a civil rights attorney after graduating from law school, working with a legal non-profit on civil rights litigation with an emphasis on issues affecting Indian country!
Outside of work, you’ll find Gâvvy on a walk, blaring Renaissance by Beyoncé, or talking about her cat Eldie!
