Legislative Session Wrap Up: Tele-Town Hall

UPDATE: Thank you to all who attended! We will be posting a legislative wrap-up to our website shortly.

Featuring SK Rossi, Director of Advocacy and Policy, and Caitlin Borgmann, Executive Director.

Hear an overview of the 2017 legislative session, including highlights about several criminal justice reform measures, as well as threats to voting rights, reproductive freedom, LGBT equality, and more!

Start with a bathroom panic where the safety and dignity of LGBT Montanans is at risk. Throw in three abortion bans, an anti-LGBT resolution preventing equality in the provision of legal services, a bill that is nothing more than Islamophobia shrouded in the idea that our courts need protection, and a policing for profit bill and you have a sense of the range of issues and ideas dealt with in one Montana legislative session.

ACLU’s bi-annual and popular “Post Legislative Tele-Town Hall” lets ACLU supporters hear observations and analyses from our lead lobbyist, Advocacy and Policy Director SK Rossi, with additional comments from Executive Director Caitlin Borgmann.
