Dennis Taylor is a long-time member of the ACLU of Montana's Board of Directors. He previously served as Treasurer on the Board and is currently part of the Finance and Audit Committee.
It has been my honor and privilege to serve on the ACLU of Montana Board of Directors. For me, joining the ACLU was part of a life-long commitment to public service that also includes being a Vietnam combat veteran and former Americorps VISTA volunteer. I am proud of my 40 years of public service primarily in Montana state and local government, and I enjoy working with ACLU members, staff, and allies to protect free speech, assembly and due process in Montana. I am especially proud of the ACLU’s recent work for criminal justice reform, death penalty abolition, public defense, jails and prison reform, racial justice, immigrant rights, protection of privacy, LBGT rights, reproductive freedom, and voting rights.
Serving on the Board takes my commitment to civil liberties one step further. I am a longtime member of the Finance and Audit committee, where I help keep the ACLU fiscally sound, living within its means, and ready for action. I am a proud card carrying member of ACLU Nationwide. Come join us because civil liberties don't protect themselves.
