Michelle Cares, a University of Montana graduate, has been with the ACLU of Montana since 2015. Having always been compelled to fight for safety net services, she finds supporting the systemic work of the ACLU of Montana very gratifying.
Michelle’s other part-time position is as a Missoula City Council member, representing Ward 6 and she sits on the board of YWCA of Missoula. Michelle is proud to have been selected as one of the Missoulian’s 20 under 40 in 2016 and the Governor’s Office of Community Service “Volunteer of the Game” in 2013.
In her spare, spare time – Michelle is the co-founder of a book club, an avid birder, member of a life planning group and team sports enthusiast.
