Car ride to a polling place miles from campus? Unfortunately, thanks to Gallatin County Commissioners, Montana State University students will now need one.

Tell the Gallatin County Commissioners that MSU students should be able to vote — whether or not they have a car.

County officials moved the MSU campus polling place to Hope Lutheran Church, a location over a mile from campus. And that mile is along a busy road with no sidewalk, no bike lanes, and no public transportation. That means the only practical way for many MSU students to vote in person is to drive or catch a ride from someone. For many college students, that's not really an option at all, is it?

Urge the commissioners to restore the polling location on campus or, at a minimum, to pick a location that students can walk, bike, or catch a bus to.
