Our probation and parole system sets too many people up to fail, and is a significant feeder of mass incarceration. As these stories demonstrate, the requirements are often arbitrary, expensive, and impossible to fulfill. The system needlessly keeps people cycling in and out of the criminal legal system instead of giving them the freedom to return to their families and communities.

Read these stories from individuals who have struggled in the system. This is why we need reform.
